Celebrate National Forest Week by learning how to identify the trees in your local parks and neighbourhoods! All are welcome to enjoy a fun and educational afternoon to learn the basics of identifying trees and to get to know what lives in the natural areas in the City. This event is hosted by the Lower Ottawa Valley Chapter of the Ontario Woodlot Association, a group of local woodlot owners who will share their knowledge of tree ID gleaned from managing their own properties. If you have a question about a tree, bring a sample and try to stump the experts!
