This one day, 8am-5pm, Felling course is valuable for those wishing to gain extensive hands-on experience in the woodlot. It can also provide professional certification for those persons interested in working in the forestry sector or related fields, or selling firewood/lumber from their woodlots. The course is presented by a certified instructor and adheres to the requirements of program #p750000 of the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
Participants must bring their own personal safety equipment, chainsaw and tools. Each session is limited to 4 participants.
Prerequisites:
- Must have completed the chainsaw safety, maintenance and sharpening course
- Must have completed the operations course
